  • As part of the Global Finance Business Office, this role will support the Global Finance systems operating landscape by gathering requirements for system enhancements that clearly and accurately capture the business needs, ensuring appropriate prioritization of requests, timely completion of systems development and coordinating user acceptance testing and user training needs.
  • The role will be part of a team that supports all major global finance and royalty systems


  • Prepare business, systems and application requirements specification documentation by consulting with business area management and staff members. This is accomplished by identifying business needs and objectives through merging an in-depth understanding of the business processes and operational requirements for the business units to develop a business requirements document relevant to both the functional area and IT personnel
  • Support Business users during user acceptance testing and ensure system enhancement results satisfy customer needs. Note: it is not the responsibility of this role to perform user acceptance testing, but to co-ordinate testing and monitor results
  • Maintain a record of timely completion of system enhancement requests tickets
  • Conduct regular meetings with business groups and IT service providers to discuss status of open system enhancement tickets and ensure appropriate prioritisation
  • Conduct system performance risk assessment and develop mitigation plans
  • Perform initial assessment of system enhancement requests for rationale, validity and priority
  • Work with IT to analyse issues and develop business requirements to provide to service providers
  • Monitor operational tickets to identify any recurring themes that may suggest a need for process improvement, system enhancement or user training
  • Perform incident analysis and suggest actions items
  • Act as a primary contact for queries regarding service provider issues
  • Monitor service provider performance metrics
  • Communicate with business leads promptly and regularly on service provider performance, procedures, issues and plans
  • Act as Global Finance representative in all service provider governance meetings
  • Co-ordinating with other Global Finance Business Office functions to ensure common goals are met
  • Extensive indirect stakeholder and service provider management including partnership with VP Finance - Enabling Services, Global Business Office Leads, SVP Finance, others from user groups


  • 5+ years' experience managing IT service providers
  • Experience working across finance and IT
  • University degree, preferred IT and/or Finance qualifications
  • Music business awareness preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay systems (eg. Purchasing, e-payables, T&E)

  • Business awareness

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to prepare clear systems documentation

  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail to stakeholders of all levels in various areas of the business

  • Capable of providing exceptional customer service

  • Proficient In Microsoft Office suite of applications, Jira (Atlassian) preferred

  • Possess good time management skills and the ability to set expectations

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Familiar with service provider performance management (SLA’s, metrics, reporting)

  • Familiar with ticketing systems

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, team oriented environment
